68For me, growing up, a stable with Mary, Jesus, Joseph and all the characters in the Christmas story was just part of the Christmas holiday. We weren't raised Christian, but our stable under the Christmas tree sure had everybody: not just the holy family, but three holy men, sheep, straw for baby Jesus etc. I'm pretty sure we'd made most of the figures ourselves one year.
This wooden advent calendar has exactly that traditional feel. Each of the days before Christmas has a door, behind which the 24 figures can be hidden. The construction is smart: the stable is magnetic so each figure can be placed on the calendar and moved about - so that the Christmas story becomes fun.
